potentialities and possibilities, a sound that

the Cherry Red Boutis are outlined in metallic

This delightful design is an ideal beginner’s
kit for French Trapunto with its simple
shapes to quilt and fill. Le Bow is quick
and easy to stitch and does not take long
to finish. It is an ideal size to make into
a wide variety of beautiful projects.

Some French Trapunto Hints and Tips ...

* When filling long channels in French Trapunto you will need
a long Trapunto needle to make the filling of these channels child's
play. This is available for $14.00 -or when purchasing with a kit -
the cost will be $8.00

* When filling large areas (not a narrow channel) in a
French Trapunto design it is a good idea to hold the
area over the yarn as it is being drawn through so that
the yarn will pull through cleanly without catching on
any other yarn stitches within the shape.

* Do not be tempted to tuck in the yarn ends of French
Trapunto before a shape is completely filled.

* If you have never done Shadow Trapunto or French Trapunto before,
a six inch practice block is available with any order of Shadow Trapunto or French Trapunto for only $5 extra. The French Trapunto block contains
the fabric and yarn so you can immediately see how the technique works by doing a small section of your pattern to fine tune your technique before you start your favourite design.
